A faculty member may ask to access pieces of the collection for classroom presentations and student projects. In order for this to take place a faculty member must:

  • Notify Carla Shelton, Registrar and Collections Manager, of their plans to utilize the collection. Carla can be reached at 405-744-2786 or at carla.shelton@okstate.edu.

  • Faculty members must provide a four week advance notice and the specific date.

  • Due to size, medium, and condition some artwork may not be accessible or able to be physically moved for a class viewing.

  • A faculty member must provide a list, using the collection database, of pieces they wish a class to view. From that list, the OSUMA staff will either confirm or deny access based on size, medium, condition and other limitations.

Accessing the permanent collection database online
