Beyond Form: Type as Image

This exhibition explores how the use of type-based imagery in art can reflect historical, social, and cultural conditions of a society. The show explores type in art by studying a broad spectrum of objects from ancient Greece to the contemporary moment. Artists include Niki de Saint Phalle, Pablo Picasso, Panamarenko, Robert Indiana, Jiro Kuwata, and more.
