Lean Into Abstraction: A Student Showcase
Lean Into Abstraction:
A Student Showcase
February 24 - April 18, 2026
For generations, artists have learned by looking closely—studying the work of those who came before them to better understand how art is made and how ideas take shape. This exhibition highlights student creations inspired by pieces from the OSU Museum of Art’s collection. Rather than copying historic works, students use them as starting points for practice and experimentation. The project invites them to interpret, question, and reimagine, gaining new insights into artistic methods and perspectives while expanding their own boundaries.
