About the Curator
Glen R. Brown is a Professor of Art History and Director of Graduate Studies at Kansas State University. He has authored numerous publications on contemporary metalwork and jewelry for Metalsmith magazine and is a regular contributor to Ornament. He has also written extensively about contemporary and historical ceramics and was elected to membership in the International Academy of Ceramics, Geneva, Switzerland in 2005. Since 2004 he has been an Associate Fellow of the International Quilt Study Center at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. He is an advisory board member fort he Cub Creek Foundation for the Ceramic Arts, Appomattox, VA, and a former treasurer of the Kansas Artist Craftsmen Association.
