A faculty member may ask to access pieces of the collection for classroom presentations and student projects. In order for this to take place a faculty member must:

Faculty members must provide a four week advance notice and the specific date.
Due to size, medium, and condition some artwork may not be accessible or able to be physically moved for a class viewing.
A faculty member must provide a list, using the collection database, of pieces they wish a class to view. From that list, the OSUMA staff will either confirm or deny access based on size, medium, condition and other limitations.
Accessing the permanent collection database online
Select "OSU Museum of Art DB." Select "Guest Account" and click "Login."
The database will appear, displaying records in a random order. You can scroll vertically through them, but you can also do a search.
To perform a search, click "find" in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Type a word or fragment in any search field and click "perform find."
