The Reed Family
The Reed Family: Doel, Jane and Martha
July 28 - Oct. 31, 2026
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Doel Reed Center in Taos, New Mexico, The Reed Family brings together works by Doel Reed—an influential printmaker and longtime educator at Oklahoma State University—and his wife Jane and daughter Martha, both creators in their own right. Jane, a watercolorist who also worked in pen and ink, and Martha, a designer and artist. Together, the Reed family reflects a sense of place, grounded in a shared love of home.
Spanning printmaking, painting, drawing, and clothing, the exhibition honors their attention to their surrounding landscape and culture of Taos, one that continues to influence the Center’s commitment to education and artistic exchange.
