Planning Your Visit

Everyone is welcome at the OSU Museum of Art!

Open Tuesday - Saturday from 11 AM - 4 PMThursdays from 11 AM - 7 PM. Closed Sunday and Monday. 

Admission is free, thanks to generous support from the OSU Museum of Art Advocates.

PARKING

  • AUTOMOBILES:
    • Two accessible parking spaces are located in front of the museum on Husband Street.
    • Free 90 minute street parking is available in on Husband Street.
    • All-day parking is available on 8th Avenue, just around the corner.
  • BICYCLES: There is a bike rack in front of the building next to the entrance ramp.

Through a partnership with Payne County Youth Services, the OSU Museum of Art is a designated Safe Place.

  • The front and rear entrances are wheelchair accessible.
  • A wheelchair is available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Portable stools and gallery seating are available throughout the museum.

SERVICES FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE DEAF OR HARD-OF-HEARING

SERVICES FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOW VISION OR ARE BLIND

  • Large print exhibition labels are available in each gallery.
  • Magnifying glasses are available upon request. 
  • Advance notice helps us to plan your visit. In addition to on-site offerings, we can provide descriptions of artworks during personalized tours.

Services for People with SENSORY NEEDS

  • With advance notice, we will accommodate the sensory needs of individuals or groups before or after hours.
  • We offer sensory body socks of all sizes in the artLAB.
  • You’ll find the yellow and orange Eero Aarnio Globe Chair, located in the artLAB, provides a sensory reprieve from noise.

SERVICES FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN

  • Ramps are located at the front entrance for easy stroller access.
  • Changing tables are located in each of our bathrooms.
  • We do not have a dedicated lactation room on the premises, however we will do our best to accommodate these needs upon request. 
  • We offer a number of adaptive art making tools for people of all ages.
